CloudPOS
Point of sale and management for small businesses, live and with paying subscribers. Selling keeps working even when the internet is down.
This is the product I build and run, not client work. It covers the register, the catalog, inventory, table orders, the kitchen, finances and staff, and it has its own app for the end customer.

This is the product I build and run, not client work. It covers the register, the catalog, inventory, table orders, the kitchen, finances and staff, and it has its own app for the end customer.
The decision that defines the product most is offline selling: the counter keeps selling with the internet down, and whatever happened during the outage syncs afterwards, in the right order. A food truck or a market stall cannot stop because the signal dropped.
It runs on Cloudflare with a Postgres database, ships a packaged desktop app and bills subscriptions from within. There are customers paying monthly, which is a different thing from a project sitting in a drawer.
The system also fits in a pocket. CloudPOS Mobile is the operator version for the phone: it opens on the day's register, the expected cash and the recent sales, and puts the point of sale and the tabs in the hand of whoever is serving, with no need for the counter computer. Images 4 and 5 in the gallery are from it.
